MISSION
STATEMENT:
Father Anglim Academy exists to meet the individual needs
of students with learning differences in a supportive
community where every child’s diversity is honored and

Announcements
REPORT CARDS and
CONFERENCES: 3RD quarter
report cards are enclosed.
School dismisses at 12:00 this Thursday, March 27 and Friday,
March 28 for Parent/Teacher conferences. 3rd quarter
conferences were scheduled only by request of parents or
teachers. If a
conference was scheduled for you, a reminder of your conference time
is enclosed.
2008-09
CONTRACTS: Contracts and tuition
assistance awards for 2008-09 are enclosed. Please follow the directions
on the cover letter and return the completed contract to the school
office by April 8. Receipt of your signed
contract completes the registration process.
ANNUAL
TESTING: Individual reading
assessments began in early March. Group tests for reading and
mathematics will take place on Tuesday, April 1 and Thursday, April
3. Please be sure that
students are well rested and have a good breakfast to help them do
their best. Test scores
will be shared with parents at end-of-year conferences in
May.
CAFETERIA
NEWS: The St. Francis Cafeteria will be closed April 8,
21 & 22.
CALENDAR CHANGE FOR THIS
SCHOOL YEAR: In an effort to assist
families with siblings in public school who have the entire week of
April 14th off, we have added an additional day to the
Spring Break in April.
FAA students will
have Spring Break from April 16-April 20. SCHOOL RESUMES APRIL
21.
HOME & SCHOOL
MEETING: We have decided to give
parents “the night off” by cancelling the April 8 Home & School
Meeting. Pressing items
will be communicated through the Wednesday Newsletter J.
HOME & SCHOOL ASSOC.
CANDY SALE FUNDRAISER: Please return candy money by
Friday, April
11th, or sooner. If you sell all of your
candy and would like more, please call Bonnie
Ross.
FAA FAMILY IN
NEED: If you would like to
bring prepared dinners or Publix Gift Cards to school to help one of
our families dealing with a serious illness, please feel free. We will accept meals at the
school office and get them to the family. Your generosity will be most
appreciated by our school family during this difficult
time.
